SubGenius IGAZUM Cerebral Reformatter – Filby’s Oath
A combination of interior-eyeball-scanned, mental projection-powered “animation” — and past-(or future?)-landscape footage obtained through a randomly traveling time “camera” — allowed us to create a composite music-video-brainwash code imbedder that will act as a replacement for recreational drugs. We used these techniques in a DVD of six short videos about JR “Bob” Dobbs and the Church of the SubGenius, called The SubGenius Igazum Cerebral Reformatter. Animation and music are by Rev. Ivan Stang with sound collage editing by Mister Fernandinande LeMur, Rev. Norel Pref, Rev. Sweetness McGee, Rev. Sudasana. The original Bob Dobbs color painting that is warped to death in this is by St. Kenneth Huey. The “Real “Bob”" painting that may appear during SOME viewings is by Nenslo. On Nov. 10, 2007, inside a huge rented Methodist church building, Ministers in The Church of the SubGenius enjoyed a Slack-packed devival with four bands and seven preachers, all in the name of JR “Bob” Dobbs. “During the Slack Crusades tour, a TV station invited us by their studios so they could whup together a little weirdness-interest story for their entertainment news. Their report on The Church of the subgenius was LONGER than their report on Morris Day’s comeback! WE’RE BIGGER THAN MORRIS DAY!! Not as big as carbon monoxide, the big lead story. But… we’ll change that. This 1-minute clip mostly shows I, Stang ranting at the cameraman, but it’s… all twirky looking, and there are also shots of Circus Apocolypse in action, and a Dr. Legume cameo. The bracketting Pinkness is of course what makes this special. The news-pink mentions Jimmy Swaggart at the end.”
