Shamanism and the Light Body


Good short talk on Shamanism. Interesting part where he asserts that Jesus was a Shaman, not the first time i have heard this but then when he says that he was a Shape shifting shaman, well not so sure about that.

The Subtle Body

Behind the obvious physical being is a series of more subtle vehicles of consciousness, each with its own aura (shown here as concentric ovoids around the body) and energy dynamics. The set of small circles down the mid-line of the body are the chakras.

Beyond the consciousness of the gross physical body itself is the emotional, mental and spiritual consciousness of what could collectively be termed the psyche. The Psyche is not a single entity in the way that the Physical Body is, but rather the sum of a number of distinct “subtle bodies” note or vehicles of consciousness that exist as frequency levels on the Etheric Plane. The word “subtle” is used to distinguish these bodies from the gross physical body.

Guide to Cold Reading

While i think think this article does little to demonstrate the specifics of cold reading it is a good introduction to the general style in which it should be done.

There are many people who promote themselves as psychics or clairvoyants, and who claim that their powers enable them to read your character, make contact with dead relatives, or provide insights into your life and your future.

By far the most common method employed by psychics who have been put to the test is called cold reading. This method involves the psychic reading the subject’s body language etc, and skilfully extracting information from the subject, which can then be fed back later, convincing the subject that the psychic has told them things they couldn’t possibly have known!

Terrence McKennas Library Burnt Down

In a tragic loss of knowledge , Terrence McKenna entire collection of books and personal notes has been lost in a fire started by a fast food chain restaurant. The only thing salvageable is list of all the works it contained.

Terence’s brother Dennis owns an index of Terence’s collection, which will at least give us an overview of his library—sorta like a playlist without the MP3s. But even this valuable document will not replace the body of knowledge itself—a body that had become, in the weird ways of the memetic world, a kind of second body for Terence’s fabulous and fascinating mind. No budding head will ever be able to poke through this collection again, with its faintly perfumed volumes on Chinese alchemy and butterflies and hash. And the world has one fewer 1659 folio of Isaac Casaubon’s A True and Faithful Relation of what passed between Dr. John Dee and some spirits, and one fewer old-school copy of Agrippa’s Three Books of Occult Philosophy, which Terence swapped for a pound or two of yummies back in the day. The content of these books, at least, is reproducible; Terence, of course, was one-of-a-kind.

Benjamin Franklins 13 Virtues

Here is a list of thirteen virtues as listed by Benjamin Franklin , he apparantly came up with these at age 20 and tried to abide by them every day of his life. The list seems about a thousand times more practical than the ten commandments , sure im not killing anyone but how about a little help getting some things done .

So ill try to tape these somewhere and read them every morning and every night ….. if i get round to it .

1. Temperance: Eat not to dullness and drink not to elevation.

2. Silence: Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself. Avoid trifling conversation.

3. Order: Let all your things have their places. Let each part of your business have its time.

4. Resolution: Resolve to perform what you ought. Perform without fail what you resolve.

5. Frugality: Make no expense but to do good to others or yourself: i.e. Waste nothing.

6. Industry: Lose no time. Be always employed in something useful. Cut off all unnecessary actions.

7. Sincerity: Use no hurtful deceit. Think innocently and justly; and, if you speak, speak accordingly.

8. Justice: Wrong none, by doing injuries or omitting the benefits that are your duty.

9. Moderation: Avoid extremes. Forebear resenting injuries so much as you think they deserve.

10. Cleanliness: Tolerate no uncleanness in body, clothes or habitation.

11. Chastity: Rarely use venery but for health or offspring; Never to dullness, weakness, or the injury of your own or another’s peace or reputation.

12. Tranquility: Be not disturbed at trifles, or at accidents common or unavoidable.

13. Humility: Imitate Jesus and Socrates.

Heres a snippet from the article explaining the circumstances in which these virtues of his arose :

You probably know him as one of the Fathers of the United States, a great leader and diplomat. He signed the major documents of the founding of the U.S. including the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Maybe you know him as an inventor, or as a scientist who flew kites in lightning storms, or as a writer and printing press operator.

But did you know that in 1726, at the age of 20, while on an 80-day ocean voyage from London back to Philadelphia, Benjamin Franklin developed a “Plan” for regulating his future conduct? He was partially motivated by Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.” He followed the plan he created “pretty faithfully” even to the age of 79 (when he wrote about it), and he was even more determined to stick with it for his remaining days because of the happiness he had enjoyed so far by following it.

Alex Grey Describes His First DMT Experiance

Ok, this is what truly happened, this was my first time..
