@VladimirDMT let’s look at this in a neutral standpoint, put all biases aside. They’re verbally attacking Mr. Leary and putting him on the spot for the death of Ms. Linkletter. Timothy Leary represents acid use and publically praises the drug. There were people out there against acid, the person has the choice to decide.This is not enough to blame the death of a girl on him. This reminds me of Columbine when they blamed the music artists the killers listened to.

He just wanted to give kids LSD and try to educate them, but he failed; he did this recklessly and without precaution: obvoiusly, since a girl that was having LSD flashbacks killed herself. She followed Timothy Leary’s advice: she trusted him because he was a very intellectual individial; hell, he was a doctor.

@doublej706 they’re not blaming him, they’re simply asking him if he thinks LSD played a role in her suicide, and his dumbass wont even answer the question because he knows he partially responsible, he feels guilty i can see it in his dumbass face, that stupid smile is just a mask, he knows he fucked up.

Tim Leary was a very intellectual individual, these kids trusted him and he failed them. he went around distributing LSD to kids and look what happened, sum dumbass girl killed herself.

so what if she had no LSD in her system? it takes meth 3 days to leave your system, but it takes you brain about 4 years to partially recover from it.
she only admitted herself that she was getting flashbacks from LSD.
i am NOT saying LSD caused her death,
but i am saying it closed-mind, illogical, and blind to say that LSD had nothing to do with her suicide.

Ha Leary looks to be “enlightened” during the interview god bless him! I had the honor to attend a few of his lectures, and even meet him, several times and he was the coolest!

I got Leary’s back on this one as well. Theyre “sandbagging” him for some girl killing herself on LSD because he said it was a good thing? Fucking ridiculous. If another one of her teachers told her that drinking draino was cool and will give u spiritual insights, and she did it, would it be the same story? people make their own choices, and I agree with what he says about drugs in general. Its none of anyone elses fucking business if someone chooses to use drugs.

If you take lsd the way Timothy Leary suggested, or with Ram Dass Be Here Now book, as an educational window to your own soul, you can have years of internal realizations & insights which may be beneficial if you are a balanced person. If you need counseling, have depression or serious problems, it might add to your fear, as it enhances your view of reality. some can handle lots of info, Know thyself honestly before exploring with this important substance. Your veil of illusion will be removed!

Art Linkletter’s daughter’s suicide is tragic but you can’t blame Timothy Leary for her decisions because decisions are ultimately independent(except for rare cases). Art is hurting and needs someone to blame for his misfortunes and that is society at that time. Shows like this try to defame the people they bring on and the interviewer seems desperate to carry on with the interview.
